Enrique focuses in areas of international trade, excise duties, commercial, customs legal, corporate, governmental & regulatory, joint ventures, alliances, agreements, mergers and acquisitions, transactional matters, and commercial contracts. Enrique has been committed to prevent risks and contingencies resulting from the operation of the maquiladora industry but also to the legal defenses in complex customs and tax litigations before Federal Courts.

Enrique has over 25 years of experience as lawyer and represents companies of the manufacturing industry in Mexico operating under export programs (MAQUILADORAS -IMMEX-, PROSEC Programs and others), including advisory and assistance on optimization of operations, such as: certifications for VAT purposes, Rule Eight License, Authorized Economic Operator -AEO-; legal assistance on verifications of origin, customs and tax audit proceedings, Free Trade Agreements counseling (USMCA, EUFTA, EFTA, FTA-JAPAN, TPP11, Central and South America FTAs, etc.), including WTO regulations; Antidumping practices, elusion and special procedures, import permits, quotas, sanitary regulations, official standards; complex litigation in commercial, foreign trade and customs matters, administrative proceedings, representation before Federal Court of Tax and Administrative Justice; trademarks and patents, registration and protection of corporate values.

Federal authorities have certified and registered Enrique as external instructor in customs and trade, he is engaged in the following conferences and publications: Member of the Mexican Bar Association, Speaker at the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, Co-Author of doing business in Mexico, Juris Publishing, Baker & McKenzie as contributor of the customs chapter, Speaker in foreign trade topics at the Manufacturing Companies Association in Monterrey, Chihuahua and Reynosa; Speaker for the Accountants and Business Association in Mexico, Speaker in foreign trade topics for Customs Authority in Mexico and Speaker for the Monterrey Institute of Technology.

Enrique has been engaged in the formation and creation of several trading and manufacturing companies, acting as shareholder and co-founder.
